Based on the visions of His Majesty King Abdullah II, to raise awareness and educate the rule of law, using new training methods, the Arab World Center for Democratic Development and Human Rights, in cooperation with Street Law, will implement The Ministry of Political and Parliamentary Affairs, and the open partnership with the Ministries of Education and Youth, is a project funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany, entitled The Rule of law is our guarantee
Within the activities of the project, a specialized training workshop will be held at the Hilton Dead Sea Hotel from 16-19 January 2020 under the patronage of His Excellency Musa Al-Ma’aitah, Minister of Political and Parliamentary Affairs aiming to prepare 30 teachers and representatives of civil society organizations and university professors, to teach lessons The rule of law, developed by local and international experts, for those who target and support them and ensure that they have the confidence and ability to use interactive teaching methodologies effectively. This workshop will be followed by another workshop that will be held in the same place from 23 to 26 January, targeting 30 representatives of youth centers and civil society organizations
The Rule of Law Project As indicated by Dr. Samir Al-Jarrah, the project’s advisor, guides its goals from His Majesty King Abdullah’s sixth discussion paper, entitled “Rule of Law is the Basis of a Civilized State,” which stresses the importance of the Rule of Law as “the true foundation upon which democracies, prosperous economies, and productive societies are built,” “The guarantor of individual and public rights, and the guarantor of providing an effective framework for public administration, and the builder of a safe and fair society” is an ambitious project that aims to improve the knowledge of youth and members of society about the concepts of the rule of law, build their civil skills, and enable them to trust the participant In the process of fostering a culture of the rule of law in Jordan, young people, who learn from trained trainers, will build knowledge, skills and critical attitudes about the rule of law and will help foster a culture of rule of law throughout the Kingdom, and this lofty goal aligns with the vision of His Majesty King Abdullah II For the country
